I am an artist based in Nova Scotia, Canada. Growing up, my family—particularly my grandmother, who was also an artist—played a significant role in nurturing my creativity.
My medium is mixed: a blend of photography, digital art, illustration, and painting. My work is inspired by the natural world, as well as the structure and symmetry found in architecture and geometry. I am drawn to organic shapes and imperfections, but I equally appreciate balance and order. I take familiar images and reimagine them through vibrant colours, layered textures, paint, and illustration. Transformation is central to my creative process.
When I’m not creating, I can be found with my husband and our three children. We enjoy cooking and eating, reading, listening to music, swimming, travelling, and dreaming together.
“I dream a lot. I do more painting when I'm not painting. It's in the subconscious.”
― Andrew Wyeth
